Cruise down the Ayeyarwaddy River in Style –
R.V Pandaw
|
The Pandaw is 150ft long and was powered by a
stern paddle, now replaced by modern engines. Up till last year she
still carried local cargo and passengers. Conserving many original
features, we have added 16 comfortable cabins, with air-con and en
suite shower rooms. There is a spacious observation lounge in the
fore and bar-restaurant aft, a joining the aft deck. An open
observation deck extends aft of the flying bridge. Finished in local
hardwoods, and furnished with period pieces, the Pandaw will house
our collection of historic prints and antiques. Promenade decks
enable passengers to sit outside their cabins. The intention has
been to recreate the atmosphere and character of the first class
deck of the classic river steamer.
