Day 1 Yangon Arrival
Arrive to Yangon. Meet at Airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Yangon [B]
Sightseeing in Yangon: Yangon Jetty with the nearby world famous STRAND Hotel and the old City Centre of Yangon. In the late afternoon, proceed to Bogyoke market, and Shwedagon Pagoda to enjoy the very special atmosphere here before and after sunset. Walk the local markets close to the Pagoda after sunset. Enjoy the smells and sounds of Myanmar!
Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Yangon - Heho - Inle Lake [B]
Yangon to Heho by flight.
Drive to Nyaung Shwe. You'll feel a total difference atmosphere and ambience from Middle part of Myanmar. The Inle Lake is surrounded by mountains and situated 3000ft above sea level. Excursion can be made by long tail boat, see life of In-tha (name of people living in the lake), their floating gardens, floating islands, and their most venerated Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Inndein Pagodas [B]
Excursion by long tail boat to Inn-dein Pagoda Complex which are situated on the Western Shore of Inle Lake, where you will reach Indein village, stroll around and continue by a covered path (1km) leading to the hidden and unknown INN-DEIN PAGODA complex: approximate 1050 stupas of 15 century. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Shwe Nyaung - Kalaw by train - Pindaya [B]
Drive from Nyaung Shwe to Shwe Nyaung train station by car (15 min) and take a train at 08:00a.m. 3 hrs train rides to Aung Ban station through the Shan mountains. Stop at Heho station is interesting to observe movement of people selling fruits, water, flowers in this region. Various kinds of plantations and pine trees can be seen on the way. Arrive to Aung Ban and drive to Pindaya. Visit Pindaya caves, Pindaya Lake, etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Pindaya - Taung Myint Gyi Village Trekking [B/ L/ D]
Start trekking from Pindaya to Htut ni village up hill through the trails. The Danu village has school, monastery and plantation. Danu is known as old Myanmar people. Continue trekking to Si Kya In village. Rest at the village house with a cup of green tea and lunch cooked by the porter. Continue trekking to Taung Myint Gyi monastery. (Walking time about 5hr)
Freshly cooked dinner and overnight at the monastery in Taung-Myint-Gyi.
Day 7 Taung-Myint-Gyi Village - Mwe-Taw Village [B/ L/ D]
The day will start about 8 AM in the morning. The route takes you into the forest, between the trails of big rock before reaching the track of stone. From time to time you will find ox carts. Do not fail to take a ride on one of those. We came out of the forest and cross by the field of cultivation. At the end of the day: will reach Kyaung Su Kone and Mwe-Taw monastery. Freshly cooked dinner and overnight at the monastery in Mwe-Taw village. (Walking time about 6hrs 30mins).
Day 8 Mywe-Taw Village - Ywar-Taw Village - Kalaw [B/ L]
The sound of the preys will wake you up in the morning.
Trekking day start again for the last day. Walk along the waves of mountain under the clear sky. We reach to the place where cultivation is done. The walk become easy and could see more villages. The time has come to leave our porters. (Walking time about 6hrs) About 15:00 hrs, we will arrive at Ywa-taw village where we can find our bus waiting for us. Drive to Kalaw and overnight.
Day 9 Heho - Mandalay [B]
Morning free to explore on your own. Transfer to Heho Airport (1.5 hrs). Heho - Mandalay by flight. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Mingun - Mandalay [B]
Visit the last Myanmar Kingdom known as "Rathnapura". The city is famous for Myanmar's 10 traditional arts and crafts.
Mandalay - Mingun by boat across the Ayeyarwaddy River and visit Mingun Bell, claimed to be the largest sounding bell in the world.
Afternoon Sightseeing Mandalay: Mahamuni Image, Wood carving, Gold leaf making and Tapestry Workshop, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and the sunset from Legendary Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Amarapura - Mandalay - Bagan [B]
Visit MahaGandayon Buddhist Monastery, to observe the way of life at monastery, visit home industries of Silk and cotton weaving of 200 -400 looms, the famous U-Bein wooden bridge ( 2/3 km) long build by wood from old palace. Transfer to Airport. Mandalay - Bagan by afternoon flight. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 12 Bagan [B]
Visit the ancient capital of 'Bagan' and its architecture from 10 -13century AD. When you talk about Bagan, it is needless to say about Buddhism that flourished together with Bagan culture. Excursion to the temple fields of Bagan such as
Sightseeing in Bagan includes Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda; a gold guild prototype of Myanmar stupas; Htilominlo Temple, Gubyaukgyi Temple with fresco painting of 12 century to learn the life of Bagan period, Ananda Temple; the most beautiful temple decorated with Terra-Cotta Jataka, The Archaeological Museum has artifacts found in the ruins,
Lacquerware Factory, Pyat-tadagyi Temple for panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 Bagan - Yangon [B]
Morning drive to Southeast of Bagan: visit Minnanthu village, to see daily life style of Bagan people, Tayoke pyay temple for panoramic view of the city, Lemyethna Temple, Payaathonzu Temple and Nandamanya Temples for frescoe painting of 12th century, Damayasaka Stupa, a pentagonal shaped pagoda
Bagan - Yangon by flight. Transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 14 Yangon departure [B]
Transfer to airport for departure flight.
