Day 1 Arrive Yangon.
Your guide will meet you at Airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Yangon - Mandalay (BY FLIGHT) [B]
Transfer to airport. Yangon - Mandalay by flight.
Visit the last Myanmar Kingdom known as "Rathnapura". The city is famous for Myanmar's 10 traditional arts.
Sightseeing Mandalay: Mahamuni Image, Wood carving, Gold leaf making and Tapestry Workshop, Gold-leaf paper making workshop and Stone curving workshop. Lunch at local restaurant and take a short break at the hotel because of Afternoon high temperature. Then, continue visit to Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, Myanansankyaw Shwenandaw and sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Sagaing - Amarapura [B]
After Breakfast, about 30 mins drive to Sagaing, the capital of Sagaing Division in Myanmar and located on the Ayeyarwady River, 20 km to the southwest of Mandalay on the opposite bank of the river. Cross Innwa Bridge, built by British in 1934. First visit Kaung Mu Taw Pagoda; the dome shaped pagoda rises up to 46 meters. At the base of the pagoda there are 812 stone pillars, each one with a hollow and an image of a Nat in it. Continue visit to Sagaing Hill, the hill has a number of small pagodas and with many meditation centers and Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda; it is located on Sagaing Hill.
Can stop at monasteries and nunneries and talk with them while taking green tea from hot tea pot and palm-sugar. Lunch at local restaurant in Sagaing and take a short break, then continue visit Amarapura,"City of Immortality" situated 11 km to the south of Mandalay. Visit home industries of Silk and cotton weaving of 200 – 400 looms, Pahtodawgyi, built in 1820 and Sunset from U Bein's Bridge, a 1.2 km wooden footbridge built with teak posts from Old Ava Palace. Drive back to Mandalay. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Mandalay - Bagan (BY BOAT) [B]
Transfer to jetty. Mandalay - Bagan by boat (06:00-17:00) hrs. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Bagan [B]
Visit the ancient capital of 'Bagan' and its architecture from 10 -13century AD. When you talk about Bagan, it is needless to say about Buddhism that flourished together with Bagan culture. Sightseeing in Bagan includes Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Htilominlo Temple, Archaeological Museum, Ananda Temple, Lacquerware Factory, Pyat-tadagyi Temple for panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Bagan [B]
Morning drive to Southeast of Bagan: visit Minnanthu village, to see daily life style of Bagan people, Tayoke-pyay temple for panoramic view of the city, Lemyethna Temple, Payaathonzu Temple and Nandamanya Temples for fresco painting of 12th century, Damayasaka Stupa, a pentagonal shaped pagoda. After lunch, (around 14:30hrs) take a boat to Kyauk-Ku Umin. Walk along the small path through mountain to the meditation cave made of sand stone in the 12 century. Visit around to see the stone-relief, stucco of the temple and return back to Bagan at sunset. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 Bagan - Mt. Popa - Kalaw (BY CAR) [B]
Drive to Mt. Popa (1½ hrs) drive from Bagan rises 4981 feet elevation. It is said to be the centre of the Nats (spirits) worshippers and a core of an extinct volcano. Continue to Kalaw by car 6hrs, through the central plane and Shan plateau. You will feel a total difference atmosphere and ambience from Middle part of Myanmar. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw.
Day 8 Kalaw - Pindaya - Inle Lake [B]
Drive to Pindaya; a small town famous for its caves with thousands of Buddha images of unknown period. Stroll around the quiet town to see the traditional workshops of Shan Umbrella and Mulberry paper productions. Drive to Nyaung Shwe. The Inle Lake is surrounded by mountains and situated 3000ft above sea level. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Inle Lake [B]
Excursion can be made by long tail boat, see life of In-tha (name of people living in the lake), their floating gardens, floating islands, weaving village and their most venerated Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Indein Pagoda [B]
Excursion by long tail boat to Indein Pagoda Complex which are situated in the Western Shore of Inle Lake, where you will find Indein village and continue by a stair path leading to the hidden and unknown INN DEIN PAGODA complex: approximate 1050 stupas of 15 century. Go back to Inle and overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Heho - Yangon [B]
Transfer to Heho airport. Heho - Yangon by flight. In the late afternoon, proceed to Chauk-htat-gyi Reclining Buddha, Bogyoke market, Shwedagon Pagoda and enjoy the very special atmosphere here before and after sunset. Walk the local markets close to the Pagoda after sunset. Enjoy the smells and sounds of Myanmar! Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 Yangon departure [B]
Transfer to airport for departure flight.
