Day 1 Yangon Arrival
Arrive Yangon. Meet at Airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Yangon - Bago - Kyaik Htiyo [B]
Yangon / Bago by car (1½ hrs), an ancient "Mon" capital. Sightseeing Bago: Visit Bago market and Kyakatwaing Buddhist monastery to observe the life style of thousands of Buddhist Monks, Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwe-Tha-Lyaung Reclining Buddha and Kyaik-Pun Buddha images.
Continue to Kyaik-hto (Kin-pun camp) 4½ hrs drive and take small truck (1hr) to YaThae-Taung. Then walk up 45mins to the Kyaik-hti-yo Pagoda (The Golden Rock).
Visit around until sunset and overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Kyaik Htiyo - Yangon [B]
After breakfast, return to Kin-pun camp and back to Yangon by car (6hrs). Visit Bago for more sightseeing: Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwe-Tha-Lyaung Reclining Buddha and Kyaik-Pun Buddha images. Continue to Yangon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Yangon - Bagan [B]
Transfer to airport. Yangon - Bagan by flight. Transfer to hotel. Visit the ancient capital of 'Bagan' and its architecture from 10 -13century AD. When you talk about Bagan, it is needless to say about Buddhism that flourished together with Bagan culture. Sightseeing in Bagan includes Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Htilominlo Temple, Archaeological Museum, Ananda Temple, Lacquerware Factory, Pyat-tadagyi Temple for panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Bagan [B]
Morning drive to Southeast of Bagan: visit Minnanthu village, to see daily life style of Bagan people, Tayoke-pyay temple for panoramic view of the city, Lemyethna Temple, Payaathonzu Temple and Nandamanya Temples for fresco painting of 12th century, Damayasaka Stupa, a pentagonal shaped pagoda. After lunch, (around 14:30hrs) take a boat to Kyauk-Ku Umin. Walk along the small path through mountain to the meditation cave made of sand stone in the 12 century. Visit around to see the stone-relief, stucco of the temple and return back to Bagan at sunset. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Bagan - Mandalay [B]
Bagan / Mandalay by flight. (Note: Mandalay new airport is situated in Tada-Oo, one hour drive to Mandalay). From airport, drive to MahaGandayon Buddhist monastery, to observe the way of life at monastery and U-Bein wooden bridge. Check-in to the hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing Mandalay: Mahamuni Image, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 Mandalay - Heho - Pindaya [B]
Mandalay / Heho by flight. Drive to Pindaya. Visit Pindaya: Pindaya Lake, Pindaya Caves, Shan Umbrella and mulberry paper production home industry. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 Inle Lake [B]
Drive to Inle (2.5 hrs). Excursion to Inle Lake by boat: Native method of fishing, Floating Garden, Floating Islands, Weaving Village, Floating Market (if coincide with your day of visit), Phaung-Daw-Oo Pagoda and Monastery of jumping cats (Ngahpe Chaung). Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Heho - Yangon [B]
Drive to Heho airport. Heho / Yangon by flight. Arrive Yangon. Sightseeing Yangon: to look around Yangon City and Yangon Jetty nearby the famous Strand Hotel. Later, visit Sule Pagoda and Mahabandoola Park, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Image, Bogyoke market.
Afternoon, visit world famous Shwedagon Pagoda to enjoy the very special light and atmosphere at sunset. Walk the nearby markets after sunset and enjoy the intense sounds and smells of Myanmar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Departure Yangon [B]
Transfer to airport for departure flight.
