Day 1 Yangon Arrival
Arrive to Yangon. Meet at Airport and transfer to Hotel.
Sightseeing in Yangon: Yangon Jetty with the nearby world famous STRAND Hotel and the old City Centre of Yangon. In the late afternoon, proceed to Shwedagon Pagoda and enjoy the very special atmosphere here before and after sunset. Walk the local markets close to the Pagoda after sunset. Enjoy the smells and sounds of Myanmar! Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Yangon - Bagan [B]
Transfer to airport. Yangon - Bagan by flight. Transfer to hotel.
Visit the ancient capital of 'Bagan' and its architecture from 10 -13century AD. When you talk about Bagan, it is needless to say about Buddhism that flourished together with Bagan culture. Sightseeing in Bagan includes Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Htilominlo Temple, Archaeological Museum, Ananda Temple, Lacquerware Factory, Pyat-tadagyi Temple for panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Bagan - Mt. Popa - Bagan [B]
Drive to Mt. Popa; 1:30hrs drive from Bagan rises 4981 feet above sea level. It is said to be the centre of the Nats (Mystical Spiritual Beings) worshippers and a core of an extinct volcano or the "Oasis" of the dry zone. Visit tower like volcanic plug that houses a picturesque complex of monasteries and Nat shrines which can be reached by winding up 777 steps. Back to Bagan and overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Bagan - Mandalay [B]
Transfer to airport. Yangon - Mandalay by flight.
Visit the last Myanmar Kingdom known as "Rathnapura". The city is famous for Myanmar's 10 traditional arts and crafts. At least 2-3 days is needed to visit the former kingdoms like Amarapura, Ava, Mingun and Sagaing. Sightseeing Mandalay: Mahamuni Image, Wood carving, Gold leaf making and Tapestry Workshop, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Mingun - Ava - Amarapura [B]
Mandalay - Mingun by boat across the Ayeyarwaddy River and visit Mingun Bell, claimed to be the largest sounding bell in the world. Visit Ava, the dead city and it famous monastery built of 276 teak wood pillars. Visit MahaGandayon Buddhist Monastery, to observe the way of life at monastery, visit home industries of Silk and cotton weaving of 200 -400 looms, the famous U-Bein wooden bridge ( 2/3 km) long build by wood from old palace. Return to Mandalay and overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Mandalay - Heho - Pindaya [B]
Mandalay-Heho by flight.
Drive to Pindaya; a small town famous for its caves with thousands of Buddha images of unknown period. Stroll around the quiet town to see the traditional workshops of Shan Umbrella and bamboo paper. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 Pindaya - Inle Lake [B]
Drive to Nyaung Shwe. You'll feel a total difference atmosphere and ambience from Middle part of Myanmar. The Inle Lake is surrounded by mountains and situated 3000ft above sea level.
Excursion can be made by long tail boat, see life of In-tha (name of people living in the lake), their floating gardens, floating islands, and their most venerated Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda.
If time permits visit the hidden and unknown INN DEIN PAGODA complex, built by the Pa-O people. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 Heho - Yangon [B]
Transfer to airport. Heho - Yangon by flight. Transfer to hotel.
Afternoon free explore on your own or make last minute shopping with guide in Yangon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Yangon - Kawthaung [B]
Yangon - Kawthaung by Flight.
Meet on arrival at Kawthaung Airport or Ranong Jetty (Thailand Border Town) and proceed to Kawthaung Jetty or Myanmar Immigration Check Point. Transfer to Myanmar Andaman Resort, an eco friendly Resort Hotel by speed boat. Overnight at the Resort (M.A.R).
Day 10 Myanmar Andaman Resort [B/ D]
Spend the day at beach (or) take sea activities available at the dive centre. Overnight at M.A.R.
Day 11 Myanmar Andaman Resort [B/ D]
Spend the day at beach (or) take sea activities available at the dive centre. Overnight at M.A.R.
Day 12 Myanmar Andaman Resort [B/ D]
Spend the day at beach (or) take sea activities available at the dive centre. Overnight at M.A.R.
Day 13 Myanmar Andaman Resort [B/ D]
Spend the day at beach (or) take sea activities available at the dive centre. Overnight at M.A.R.
Day 14 Resort to Yangon (or) Ranong (Thai side) [B]
After breakfast transfer back to Kawthaung Jetty or Myanmar Immigration Check Point from M.A.R by Resort speed boat and proceed to Kawthaung Airport (or) Renong Jetty.
