INLE LAKE | LOIKAW | KALAW | PINDAYA| MANDALAY
Day 1 Inle Lake - Samgar Village - Phaekhon - Loikaw [B]
Early morning, start your trip to Loikaw passing along the Inle Lake by boat. Visit Samgar village on the way. Then continue to Phaekhon village (24 mile trip by car about 2 hrs drive). Then transfer to car and continue drive to Loikaw. Overnight at hotel. (If the road condition is too bad for driving the car, you have to walk a few minutes to reach your stop.)
Day 2 Loikaw [B]
Whole day sightseeing Loikaw including the village of the most interesting ethnic people in Myanmar, long nacked Padaung and their traditional weaving villages, Thirimingalar Karen Museum, Taungkwe Zedi, etc. Overnight at hotel in Loikaw.
Day 3 Loikaw - Kalaw [B]
Morning visit to colourful Loikaw market and then drive to Kalaw. Visit Myin-ma-hti Cave on the way. Transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Kalaw - Pindaya [B]
Morning visit the hilltop village, Kalaw. Drive to Pindaya and visit Pindaya Lake, Pindaya Caves, Shan Umbrella and mulberry paper production home industry. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Pindaya - Heho - Mandalay [B]
After breakfast, drive to Heho airport. You could visit Pindaya market or Heho market if time is available on the way to airport. Heho - Mandalay by flight. Arrive Thada-Oo airport. Transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel.

Day 1 Heho - Kalaw
Flight to Heho. Drive to Kalaw and sightseeing around.
(optional : Pindaya sightseeing) . Overnight at hotel in Kalaw.
Day 2 Kalaw - Loikaw [B]
After early breakfast, start drive from Kalaw through Shan Plauteau. On the way you can observe villages of Shan and Pa-O people and their patches of plantations of rice, beans, corn, potatos etc. You can also visit the village market days which coincide with the day of visit. After 4 hrs drive from Kalaw, you will reach Phe Khon and have lunch break.
Afterwards, continue drive to Loikaw for 1.5 hrs.
Overnight at Guest House in Loi Kaw.
Day 3 Loikaw sightseeing [B]
Morning visit Loikaw market.
Afterwards visit weaving home industry and visit Tae Dama village for observation of Kayah traditional belief of Kae-Htoe-Boe and Ta-gon-taing. After lunch, visit Old Haw; the office cum residence of previous Loikaw Chieftain, Myo Nam Pagoda, Catholic Churches, monastery and nunnery near Taung Kwel Pagoda and sunset from Taung-Kwel Pagoda.
Overnight at Guest House in Loi Kaw.
Day 4 Loikaw sightseeing [B]
Morning drive to southern part of Loi Kaw and visit Sun Poon village for observing the home of Padaung, the long neck ladies.
Afterwards, visit the Kayah State Museum.
(optional : you can hire and sightsee around the town with bicycle).
Overnight at Guest House in Loi Kaw.
Day 5 Loikaw - Phe Khone - Inle Lake [B]
Drive to Moe-Byae and visit around the village of Si-Kar where you can have a chat with Padaung Lady there. Afterwards, continue to Phae-Khone and enbark long tail boat. After 1.5 boat drive, you will reach Sakar village and visit Thar Khaut Pagodas. After lunch, visit Naung-Po village to abserve traditional pottery works, Mine-Pyoe village for rice wine making, and Inn-Phaw-Khone weaving village. Afterwards transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in the Inle Lake.
NOTE:
- Need to apply special permit to visit this area.
- Suggested maximum number of pax: 6 to 8 Pax
- need to pay tips to the Padaung Ladies for photo taking
- Kayah Day : 15 January (the Celebration will be 13 to 15 Dec, the best day is 15 Dec morning)
- If situation permits, you can have a chance to visit Dee-Maw-So small town and its local market day which is on every Wed and Sat where you have a chance to see ways of life of Padaung Ladies. Please check with your guide for possibility and extra charges.
