YANGON | MOWYINGYI WETLANDS | PHO KYAR ELEPHANT CAMP | MANDALAY by car
Day 1 Yangon - Bago - Moeyingyi Wetlands
After breakfast, drive to Bago (1.5 hrs).
Sightseeing Bago : Visit Bago market and Kyakatwaing Buddhist monastery to observe the life style of thousands of Buddhist Monks, Shwiawdaw Pagoda, Shwe-Tha-Lyaung Reclining Buddha and Kyaik-Pun Buddha images. Then continue to Moeyingyi wetland. Overnight at Moeyingyi Wetland resort.
Day 2 Moeyingyi Wetland - Pho Kyar Elephant Camp [B, D]
Breakfast at resort.
Proceed to the wetland bird watching by boat in the lake to explore the resident and migratory water birds.
Afterwards, return to resort and drive to Pho Kyar Elephant Camp. Pho Kyar Forest resort is ideal local ecotourism spot located at the border of the forest with a stream running in zig-zag way within the area. Dinner and overnight at resort.
Day 3 Pho Kyar Elephant Camp [B, L, D]
After breakfast, observe how elephant bathe.
Afterwards, trek to the elephant camp where you can meet mahout and their daily routine. Return to camp and afternoon free. In the evening, take elephant ride (1 hr). Overnight at Resort.
Day 4 Pho Kyar - Mandalay [B]
After breakfast, drive to Mandalay (9 hrs).
